Sherman Joseph Edgerson better known for his stage name ShermG born July 10, 1983, is an American Hip Hop/Rap Artist that grew up in the mean streets of Hollygrove located in New Orleans, La. (same neighborhood as rap phenom Lil Wayne) In his early life he was a kid of many gifts and talents. At the tender age of 17 he enlisted in the US Navy where he served his country proudly for the next 6 years of his life. While in the military he was deployed 3 times to enemy territory. While away from New Orleans he also helped in the Rescue of many New Orleans residents during the tragic times of Hurricane Katrina.

In 2008 ShermG blew up on the local Hip Hop scene with singles such as "Come Rock With Me," "Strings to my Guitar," and "After the Club" featuring R&B sensation Tre'V. Sherm G is currently working on his Debut album "Get ya Game UP!" at Infused Studios in Hernando, MS. The Album fuses Sherm G's insightful wordplay with hard-hitting lyrics and singular flow with soulful tracks to generate a record boiling over with club-bangin' Classics. With standout tracks like "Strings to my Guitar," look for Sherm G to be a major leader in the Hip-Hop landscape for years to come.
