My name is Michael Teuber and I write songs, lyrics, vocal hooks etc. - so far mainly in the pop and dance music field, but I'm open to all kinds of music and collaborations with production teams. In the last couple of years I have had songwriting credits on more than 700 releases, mainly compilations, but also albums, DVDs, vinyls, digital etc. including more than 130 sales charts records in Germany, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland ... whatever that means ;-) In the end it's the music that counts and the audio examples will tell you more about what I do than the numbers and statistics.
But, hey, this is a business site, so here's some more info about me (the inevitable name dropping department ;-) So far I have worked with (and co-writes of mine have been remixed by) various name producers: Darius & Finlay, DJ Gollum, Rocco & Bass T., Dream Dance Alliance, Andy Jay Powell, Klubbingman, DJ Scotty, Aycan, Bülent Aris, Andy Reynolds, Colin Pearson, David Parker, DJ Thoka, Nick Ferrando, Marc Korn. TG etc. who became wellknown for producing/writing for acts like Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Worlds Apart, Nana, Alphaville, Taco, Mario Lopez, Ghetto People, Hypertrophy, Kimera, Flying Superkids etc. or had hits in their own right. Songs of mine have been released by various publishers, such as EMI Songs, Warner Chappell, Roba, TG Publishing, Balloon and more, because I work as a freelancer with different publishers for different projects. I've also written for companies like LegoLand (Denmark) and Gedys Internet Products (Germany) and did the German translations for the album/dvd "Flieg mit uns" and the shows of the Flyings Superkids (http://flyingsuperkids.com ).
A track of mine was released by boyband Trademark - the album got two platinum certificates in Asia. In 2002 I was the only German participant in the D'Pop Co-Writing Week with writers from USA, UK, Canada, Scandinavia etc. D'Pop is organized by TG Management / Publishing (Aqua, Smile, Cartoons etc.) and I was also a participant in 2003 (a D'Pop co-write was released in 2003 by Danish casting winner Niemeyer) and again in 2006 (co-write AYCAN "Divided" from that year released on various chart compilations throughout Europe in 2007). I like to work with other people - sometimes in the studio, sometimes exchanging ideas and creating new stuff via the internet. So far I had the privilege to collaborate with writers and producers from Denmark, Sweden, England, Ireland, Italy, Israel, The Netherlands, Austria and of course Germany (where I live).
